Our Founder: Franklin Jester

Our firm was founded in 1963 by Franklin Jester, whose vision and work ethic continue to shape our practice today.

Franklin began his professional career as an accountant at DuPont, where he developed a strong foundation in accounting principles, accuracy, and ethical responsibility. While working full-time, he recognized a growing need for personal, trustworthy tax assistance for individuals and small business owners — service that was both technically sound and genuinely client-focused.

What started quite literally at his kitchen table grew into a respected local tax practice built on word-of-mouth, integrity, and consistent results. Franklin believed that every client deserved the same level of care and attention, whether their return was simple or complex.

That philosophy remains at the heart of our firm.

More than 60 years later, the firm Franklin Jester founded continues to thrive. During a typical tax season, we now serve 700+ clients in an approximately 11-week period, a testament to the trust generations of clients have placed in our work.
